Vintage Ladder in the Bathroom

My husband and I share a Jack n' Jill bathroom with our daughter.
It is sorely lacking in style,
mostly because of a lack of moolah.
What's a girl to do on a budget?

Head to some yardsales for some cheap inspiration of course!

And viola~ I found this shabby old ladder
and an idea was born.

There was a handy-dandy built-in magazine holder.

I simply leaned the ladder against the wall and rounded up some baskets from around the house.

I had this candle holder in the garage, waiting to go to Goodwill.
Eventually I will spray paint it a pewter.

I picked up this sign at Walmart.
The FAKE plants are from Goodwill.
I recently read an article on 10 things to never use when you decorate and fake plants were the one thing most of the comments agreed on.  Most bloggers HATE fake plants, but I had to do it.
This ladder was crying for something green and I am just not good with indoor plants.  They usually end up brown.

I rolled up a couple towels and threw some toilet paper into a basket - instant bathroom decor.

This bathroom will need lots of updating in the future,
but for now this works.

  1. For now, it works just great! I love what you have done with the ladder. (As always, drooling over your floors.)
