I have been busy making some small changes to the dining room.
Almost everything I used was free.
This is the hydrangea wreath I was making when I locked myself out of the house the night of the earthquake.
My lovely neighbor gave me oodles
of hydrangeas to dry.
I have used them everywhere.
I pulled this hutch out of the garage.
So far I have done nothing to it but clean it up.
Eventually I will do something with it.
I shopped the house and found different items for the hutch, including some more hydrangeas and a pinecone or two.
The final result....for now.

Your dining room looks pretty and fallish. You are so lucky to get the hydrangeas. At my house that we just moved from I had lots of hydrangea bushes. Never could bring myself to cut the flowers. Now I wish I would have!
