Have you ever gone yardsaling (yardsailing?) and hit the jackpot? I finally did! (As usual, I took the photos at night).
This is my most recent fall tablescape. Our regular dishes are fall colors, and I usually use those for my fall table.... but I got super blessed this week. I found these beautiful dishes at a yard sale. They were asking $25 for them, but I talked them down five buckaroos and practically stole them for $20!
Don't cha just love this coffee pot with matching cream & sugar bowl. And the salt & pepper shakers are just swoon worthy.

Royal Mail
Fine
Staffordshire Ware
Made in England
(that's what is says on the back)
I call it brown/black transferware.
I researched this pattern on ebay and etsy, and it is going for A LOT more than 20 bucks baby! (Baby? I must be really excited).
There are eight place settings which include 6 pieces. Not a scratch, chip, or missing piece anywhere.
There are also 2 large serving platters and 2 large serving bowls
Two small oval platters and a gravy boat
Eight dessert plates
A covered bowl
To round out my fall table there are many more yard sale finds.
Brown tablecloth - $0.25
Lace tablecloth - $2.00
Oval cutting board - $1.00
Courting candlesticks - $2.00
Hydrangeas - free (from my generous neighbor)
Some daylight photos:
Oh my goodness girl - that was beautiful - like the color of the photos too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hope you are enjoying some rest!

Beautiful!!!! Your table is beautiful! I lucked up on the same dishes a couple of years ago at a yard sale for the same amount of money!!! I just love them, they take center stage in my kitchen! I did find a few more pieces on ebay and at that time the price was right, but now they are much higher in price.
ReplyDeleteWe sure got lucky!
