Antique Ironing Board Entry Table

I found this old ironing board at a yard sale for $5.

I played around with some different accessories that I found in the shed or on the property.

I splurged on the lamp.  Everything else we already had.

The wild flowers came from our yard.  I've been able to keep this filled all summer.

Some dried hydrangeas.

Here is a before photo:

I definately love how this looks (except for the wire).

  2. What a great find, it looks fantastic.
I have an old board without legs which I have had for years. I have been wanting to perhaps sand and wax it, maybe stencil it or something and put it on the wall in the laundry. You have me thinking about it again!

    1. My first plan was store it away to pull out for special occasions for serving drinks or dessert. But when we moved in we didn't have a table for the entry, so this was going to be a temporary table there, but now I love it!
