I love living in New Hampshire during primary season. In the last presidential election, my daughter Megan and I decided to see every presidential candidate in person - and we did! We heard most of them speak, and shook hands with many others. We saw Barack Obama, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Guiliani, John Edwards, Joe Biden, and Dennis Kucinich, and probably a few I have forgotten. We have photos of almost every one of them. This year, we didn't see any candidates in person, and because we no longer have a house phone, we didn't get any of the dozens of phone calls we usually get. I struggled to choose a candidate this year, and even as late as this morning I was still googling the candidates just to be sure. I went to the polls and cast my vote, and so did my 20 year old son and 18 year old daughter - for the first time. They took their vote very seriously, and I was proud of the thought they put into it. My son registered as an independent (or undeclared) and my daughter a republican.
